Benin is ahead of the curve in this issue and the following anti-piracy measures have already been implemented by the Benin government with excellent success and as a result there has been no sea crime in our waters since September 2011.

  • Safety zones and map are available upon request. Naval clearance is required for all vessels entering Benin waters (It is free for vessels coming alongside). It is also compulsory for every vessel entering the protected zone to appoint an Agent to organise and pay the navy clearance fee.
